Cylinder Honing, Lapping, Welding and Sawing

The cylinder shown on the right is being honed to size after boring just short of the finished size. The honing process will not only finish the boring process it will also leave the proper micro finish desired in the cylinder.
	HyVal Industries has two lapping machines a 24" and a 36" machine. Shown on the left is the 24" Lapmaster that usually is kept between 1 and 11 millionth of an inch in flatness. The table flatness is monitored by observing light-bands using a monochromatic light and quartz crystal on a test block.
HyVal Industries has multiple welding and burning rigs both permanent and portable to handle most welding and burning requirement. Welding cylinder end caps and cylinder rod eye's on the ends of chrome cylinder rods or welding together jacking fixtures for machinery disassembly are a few of the normal applications.
	In addition to a portable plasma cutting machine; HyVal Industries has two large horizontal band saws to handle the big jobs. The 12" Automatic Band Saw pictured on the left can be setup for complete automatic operation for those jobs that require repetitious cutting of stock.
